Photography & GDPR
Event photography may be provided by a commercial photographer, and this may include photographs of:
If you do not want your child to be photographed during the event please indicate on the entry form. Children must wear the correct numbered bib throughout the event so they can be identified for opt-in/out preferences. Bibs must be returned after the second run. Therefore children who have opted out of photography will be unable to participate in the dual slalom as bibs are not worn and individual children cannot be identified by the photographer for exclusion.
Photographs may be available for purchase following the event.
Gender, school and year group determine each racers category and team for awards. Full results will be published including each racers name, school, gender, year group and race times. Publication of full race results is a condition of entry to a race. Without parental permission to provide this data you unfortunately cannot race.
Third Party Liability Insurance
All racers must have third party liability insurance.
Racers who are members of a club that is affiliated with Snowsport Scotland are already insured. Racers that are registered with Snowsport Scotland as individual competitors are insured. Insurance is available from Scottish Schools Snowsports Association (SSSA) for £3.50 per pupil. This will give cover for an academic year. If you have already raced in the 2018-2019 academic year in a SSSA event, and paid for the insurance then you are insured. If you require insurance then this can be paid for at the time of the race entry.
